PDAC at Mineral Outlook Dialogue
During the week of May 8 PDAC took part in Natural Resource Canada’s annual Mineral Outlook Dialogue. Made up of a series of virtual presentations and an in person seminar on Thursday, PDAC was able to provide commentary directly to government on a host of issues currently facing industry, most notable critical minerals. PDAC’s President, Raymond Goldie, provided opening remarks in Ottawa on the 11th to an enthusiastic crowd.

What are critical minerals?
The term has become ubiquitous in Canadian and global news, but for those outside the mineral industry, it may not be clear what that means. PDAC has just released ‘Canada’s Critical Minerals: 101’ to answer some key questions, explore the Association's involvement in national initiatives and highlight what the government is doing to develop these mineral value chains.
