The world renowned PDAC Convention offers students a unique opportunity to network with industry professionals from around the world. Last year the convention attracted over 1,300 students from across Canada, the USA and internationally.

For $19.05/year (plus tax) you can join the PDAC as a student member. This allows you to enjoy all member benefits, cheaper convention registration and the opportunity to qualify for tuition top-up awards at the Convention.

Volunteer Opportunities

PDAC offers students a unique opportunity to volunteer their time in exchange for a complimentary Student All Access Pass and a ticket to the Student-Industry Networking Luncheon.

Make an impression, build on your knowledge and develop your network with a series of events designed especially for students. The world renowned PDAC convention offers students a unique opportunity to meet industry professionals.

PDAC Convention Travel Fund

The PDAC has set up a Convention Travel Fund to help student groups cover the costs of getting to Toronto. Funding is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The application form will be posted in November 2019. 

Student Hub

The Student Hub is located on Level 800 across from the Trade Show. The Hub hosts Resume Review sessions, registration for the guided tours of the Trade Shows and Investors Exchange, and other resources and opportunities for students and early career attendees. 

Resumé Review

Sign up onsite at the Student Hub for a consultation with a geoscience professional who will review your resumé and discuss personalized networking techniques.

Students are encouraged to bring a copy of their resumé and business cards to the session.
