Convention Program: Connecting Companies to Capital

The annual PDAC Convention, Trade Show and Investors Exchange is the world’s largest annual mineral industry conference, with over 22,000 attending in each of the last five years. It has become the place where the world’s mineral industry meets, which naturally also means it has become a key venue for companies to connect with capital.

To help issuers and investors meet, the PDAC Convention provides the globally renowned Investors Exchange, where junior exploration companies, major mining companies, mid-sized producers, prospectors and stock exchanges come face-to-face with individual and institutional investors. PDAC also provides a platform for companies to make investors aware of the opportunities presented by their flagship projects through the Corporate Presentation Forum for Investors. Company presentations feature up-to-the-minute information on the activities of select exploration and development companies. Prospectors are featured in two areas – in the Prospectors Tent within the Investors Exchange, and through the Core Shack, where the latest discoveries from around the world are highlighted along with maps, charts and technical information.

In addition to connecting companies and interested investors, PDAC also provides a rich and diverse range of programs to educate companies and investors about mineral industry financing. This includes the opportunity to hear about commodity trends and investment advice from the world’s top newsletter writers, through the Letter Writer Presentations for Investors, and to hear directly from private equity, global bankers and securities regulators during the Capital Markets Program.

All of these activities are available free-of-charge through registration for an Investors and Select Presentations pass.
