ERM Sustainability Bursary

The ERM Sustainability Bursary: Innovation in Environmental and/or Social Performance is designed toadvance the mineral sector through excellence and innovation, by providing support to the next generation of pioneers and leaders, so that our industry can continue to generate sustainable value for all stakeholders in the years to come.

The bursary is open to students enrolled at a Canadian educational institution completing a post-graduate degree or in their final year of an undergraduate program in 2023-2024.

It is anticipated that students will be supporting projects in the fields of environment, geoscience, exploration, engineering, hydrology, hydrogeology, sustainability, or social practice and community engagement.

Those applying should demonstrate a passion for sustainability and innovation through a commitment to creating net-positive socio-economic and environmental impact for the mineral industry. This may be demonstrated through the development of improved methods of exploration, the advancement or application of technology, and/or approaches to building strong relationships with Indigenous people, communities, and society.
