Help improve NI 43-101 |
PDAC requests your support in our efforts to improve the effectiveness of NI 43-101 and have the CSA remove unnecessary triggers for new technical reports. We have identified a number of triggers that do not lead to improve disclosure for investors but simply add time and costs in accessing capital. We need to show strong support from our members in the industry to build momentum and effect positive change! Learn more.

Tax amendment concerns |
Finance Canada recently published proposed amendments to paragraph 186 of the Excise Tax Act (ETA), which will limit the ability of exploration and development companies that operate through subsidiaries to claim tax credit for GST/HST spent in Canada. PDAC submitted a response to express the concerns of the mineral industry regarding the potential for an increase in the cost of capital. Read Finance Canada’s explanatory notes on the changes along with PDAC’s response.
