Board election opens today!
Members will be emailed a personalized link to the 2024 Board of Directors election ballot at 2 p.m. EST on January 25. If you have not already done so, renew your membership and exercise your right to vote. Election results will be announced at the AGM on March 3.

Funding for Critical Minerals Infrastructure Projects – Deadline Approaching
The Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund (CMIF) will support clean energy and transportation infrastructure projects to enable the development and expansion of Canada’s critical minerals production. The first call for proposals to distribute up to $300 million is now open, with funding reaching up to $50 million per project for non-governmental applicants to two streams: development activities and shovel-ready projects. Applications are open until February 29, 2024 at 11:59PM PST.

Human Rights Reporting
The Government of Canada has released the reporting obligations and related guidance for Forced Labour in Canadian Supply Chains. Completing the online questionnaire on or before May 31st of each calendar year is mandatory for entities. Check out PDAC’s Human Rights page for more information on who/what is included in the disclosure as well as resources on respecting human rights.
