New discoveries

The new discoveries session is a perennial favourite at the PDAC Convention and it presents new and exciting projects from all over the world.

The priority of the session is to field presentations from a variety of commodities and deposit types as well as diverse geographic regions and, although the focus is on new discoveries, advanced projects in revitalized mining camps are often selected because they underline the importance of existing infrastructure in the economics of mining projects.

This year we present projects that seek gold and copper, precious metals, nickel and platinum group metals, and uranium from environments as diverse as porphyry, epithermal, orogenic gold, magmatic sulphides and lateritic uranium deposits.
