Director of Geoscience

Ryan is Director of Geoscience at Mercator Geological Services and leads a team of data-scientists, deposit geologists and GIS-specialists in development and application of advanced statistical algorithms to aid clients in mineral exploration. He has over 15 years of experience in mineral exploration and geoscience research, specializing in geochemistry and critical-metal deposits. Ryan has been instrumental in developing Mercator’s proprietary prospectivity analysis methods that incorporate data and knowledge driven processes to create geostatistical and AI/ML models. He has successfully applied these methods to lithium, gold, base metals and other critical metal deposits across Canada.
