Michael has over 25 years' experience in investment banking. He started his career as a metallurgist in the gold division of Anglo American Corporation (now AngloGold Ashanti) and later worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Co., consulting to the resources sector globally. Prior to assuming his current role, Michael led equity capital markets origination in the mining and oil and gas sectors with TD Securities. Michael holds a BSc in Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and an MA from Oxford University.
