Global Structural Geologist

BSc from Université de Montréal, MSc from Queen’s U and PhD from Carleton U., Marc is Senior Structural Geologist for Barrick since 2012 after doing the same with Newmont from 10 years. Trained as a regional mapper he worked in Precambrian shields of all continents and Phanerozoic orogens of the Americas and Europe. He was involved in the discovery of several new gold projects while looking for innovative ways to forecast new discoveries and train new talent. He will synthesize 30 years of Rhyacian greenstone investigations in the Guiana Shield.
