President and CEO

Jonathan Price was appointed President and CEO of Teck on November 1, 2023, and has been a member of Teck’s Board of Directors since July 26, 2022. Previously, Mr. Price was CEO, having been appointed to that role in September 2022. He has also held the roles of Executive Vice President and CFO. He joined Teck in 2020 and brings extensive experience in the resources sector through a variety of finance, commercial and business development roles spanning Europe, Asia, and Australia, with a focus on strategy, transformational change, and business improvement. He holds a Master of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Oxford and a Master of Business Administration from Cardiff University.
