Jarek is an SRK Corporate Consultant based in Vancouver. He has been practicing in the mining industry since 1984 prior to which he obtained an Engineering Degree in Mining Geology. While employed by De Beers in South Africa and Botswana he developed expertise in mining of primary diamond deposits. In 1997 he returned to Canada and assembled a world-class team of diamond experts in the SRK Vancouver, leading to career-long professional engagements on diamond projects and mines around the world. Jarek is also a world authority on cave mining and a Fellow of the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and recipient of the CIM Mining Engineering Outstanding Achievement Award.
