Implementation and Liaison Officer

Emmett is a member of the Cree Nation of Wemindji, and has worked for Waptum, a Wemindji-owned consulting company, for three years. With his current mandate as an Implementation and Liaison Officer, Emmett has been working on Wemindji's Land Use Monitoring Program with land users who have been impacted by mining. <br />Emmett has also supported the development of the Cree-led Environment & Social Impact Assessment of the Newmont Eleonore Mine.
