Clyde Moonias is a member of Neskantaga First Nation, and he currently resides in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he is the coordinator, community relations for Wyloo. Previously, Clyde was the Health, Safety, & Environment Coordinator for Wyloo’s Esker Site. As a university graduate, Clyde has taken various courses in Indigenous health, policy, and history, which has provided him with a foundation of understanding on health issues deeply rooted in the dispossession of cultural traditions, social inequities, prejudice and discrimination. Through his education, Clyde aspires to share his journey and is grateful to share his understanding of mining, health, and wellbeing with others today.
