Ran Maoz

Ran is the tax policy and capital markets analyst at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), focused on policy work aimed to enhance the access to capital of the mineral exploration and development sector. Ran was born and raised in Israel and came to Canada in 2012 to study for an MBA in the Schulich School of Business, where he completed a specialization in Global Mining Management (GMM). Ran also has an undergraduate degree in Economics and Management and solid experience in business analysis, sales and consulting, including work as an environmental economist. Ran has been involved with curriculum development for the GMM program at Schulich since 2014 and is now a guest lecturer in the mining strategy course. Since 2015 Ran has served as the Finance Director for Women Who Rock, an organization that supports and empowers women in mining.
