International Invitation Letters

Upon request, PDAC issues International Invitation Letters to international attendees wishing to attend the convention.

PDAC cannot accept any responsibility for Visa applications nor will it influence the processing of Visas. Please note that it may take Canadian Embassies/Consulates three (3) months to process a Visa application. Applicants must check with their respective authorities to determine exact processing requirements. For more information about Canadian government requirements for visitors and contact information for Visa offices, visit www.cic.gc.ca.

Where an attendee is unable to attend the convention because of their failure to obtain a Visa, the cancellation policy for registration fees will apply.

Travel requirements of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

It is recommended that all international attendees review the requirements of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada related to flying to or transiting through Canada. For more information, please visit this page.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Review the Government of Canada's official website to apply for an eTA to fly to, or transit through, a Canadian airport. Find out what it is and how to apply online.

PDAC 2021: The World’s Premier Mineral Exploration & Mining Convention will take place from March 7-10. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing challenges it has created, we are unable to confirm the event format at this time. However, our team is currently exploring a number of options. The health, safety and well-being of all participants is our priority and these principles will guide us in our planning.

We will provide further updates in the fall. Thank you for your patience.
