PDAC Convention Travel Fund

Student HubPDAC has set up a Convention Travel Fund to help student groups cover the cost of getting to Toronto.  Students must be PDAC members in good standing.

Funding is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Deadline: February 3, 2017

Volunteering during the Convention is also a great way to save money and meet industry professionals.  In exchange for your time, you will receive a complimentary All Access Student Pass AND a ticket to the Mineral Outlook Luncheon, plus more!

Field Trip Funding

Planning a field trip this year? Apply for funding from the PDAC!

These field trips must be focused on economic geology with preference given to trips taking place within Canada. Applications will only be accepted from groups or individuals who are part of a Canadian institution, and who are PDAC members in good standing.

S-IMEW 2016: Celebrating 10 years!

PDAC Student-Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop [S-IMEW]

This May, the PDAC's Student-Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop (S-IMEW) exposed 26 upper-year geoscience students to all aspects of the mineral exploration industry. The workshop provided a mix of lectures, field exercises, site visits and networking opportunities with industry professionals to help students lay the foundation for a successful career in the industry. 

Over 90 volunteers helped make this a reality for the students.
