Shawn Ryan, 2011 recipient of the PDAC’s Bill Dennis award for prospecting to deliver keynote presentation at the PDAC’s 7^th annual Student-Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop

On May 4^th, Shawn Ryan, the prospector who’s discoveries in Whitehorse Yukon has spurred a new Klondike gold rush, will kick off the annual Student-Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop (S-IMEW) with a keynote address to the top 26 geoscience students in Canada. 

Now in its seventh year, the two-week workshop held in Sudbury exposes students to aspects of the mineral exploration industry outside of the classroom.
