PDAC Convention News

The Student Hub will be located on Level 800 across from the Trade Show. This new space will host Resume Review sessions, registration for the guided tours of the trade show & investors exchange, and other engagement opportunities for students.

We have released a PDAC 2017 - Student Program Guide to help you survive the convention and make the most out of your experience!

The Northern Miner is free to access till March 10th! Good for staying up to date on companies at PDAC. Visit our PDAC website for some must know Attendee Info.

Our Student Friendly Companies list is available! These are great companies to approach while at convention.  I recommend be strategic and doing your research on a handful before attending the convention.  Work with your classmates to lighten the load!

Our Student-Industry Forum, 'Mentorship: Women in Mining' Panelists and Moderator have been announced. See who they are!

Canadian geoscience students and the realities of the exploration industry PDAC-S-IMEW-logo-small cropped

This past May, the PDAC's Student-Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop (S-IMEW) exposed 26 upper-year geoscience students to all aspects of the mineral exploration industry. The workshop provided a mix of lectures, field exercises, site visits and networking opportunities with industry professionals to help students lay the foundation for a successful career in the industry.

Over 90 volunteers helped make this a reality for the students.
