The VIP All Access Pass is an upgraded registration that provides additional services including:

Student All Access Pass

All students must register for PDAC 2017. To qualify for student rates you must be enrolled full-time in a recognized academic program.

Students over 16 years of age may register as a Student All Access Pass (member or non-member), One Day All Access Pass, One Day Exhibits Pass, or an Investors & Select Presentations Pass.

Students 16 years of age and under can attend the convention free of charge. They may register for an Investors & Select Presentations Pass.

Program descriptions

Aboriginal Program

The PDAC Convention offers an excellent opportunity to bring Aboriginal people together with the exploration and mining sector. PDAC actively promotes greater understanding and co-operation between Aboriginal communities and the mineral industry in Canada.

Capital Markets Program

The Capital Markets Program is intended to create a forum for learning and dialogue on a range of topics related to the financing of mineral exploration.

Core Shack

The latest discoveries from around the world will be highlighted along with maps, charts and technical information. 

Corporate Presentation Forum

The Corporate Presentation Forum for Investors is a popular series that features up-to-the-minute information on select exploration and development companies' current activities and investment potential.

CSR Event Series

This series of events facilitates multi-stakeholder dialogue and peer learning on issues related to social and environmental performance in the exploration and mining industry.

Exploration Insights

PDAC invites policy and technical papers for presentation during the Exploration Insights Session. Selected from a call for papers, these presentations offer insight into current and topical subjects.

Investors Exchange

The Investors Exchange is a great opportunity for face-to-face conversations with exhibitors about their current activities and investment potential. It is comprised of approximately 350 exhibitors including junior exploration companies, major mining companies, mid-sized producers, prospectors and stock exchanges.

Letter Writers Presentations for Investors

Top newsletter writers present their charts, thoughts and ideas on how to select good investments in the resources sector.

Prospectors Tent

Prospectors Tent booths are reserved exclusively for self-employed or independent prospectors to display their maps, samples and claim results.

Student Program

The world renowned PDAC Convention offers students a unique opportunity to network with industry professionals from all over the world. Last year the Convention attracted over 1,600 students from across Canada, the USA and internationally.

Hear industry experts share timely insights during this dynamic series of presentations. Attendees will learn next and best practices that can be utilized right away.

All attendees must register for a pass

All convention attendees must register for a pass. You may pre-register or register onsite. Onsite pickup and registration desks are located on Level 600 of the MTCC, South Building. You will not be permitted beyond Level 600 security without a pass.


The benefits for members include discounts on convention registration (individuals and corporate member representatives), networking, business development, career advancement/professional development, investment opportunities, new technology and expanded advocacy efforts. Registration cancellation information

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellations received on or before February 23, 2017 will receive a refund less a 25% administration fee. Cancellations received after February 23 will not receive a refund. Membership fees are non-refundable.


PDAC appreciates your attendance. The distribution of materials outside of a paid exhibit space is not permitted. Materials may not be handed out in the aisles or in other parts of the building. If you witness this type of activity, please contact Show Management, through Room 825A, immediately so that we can properly handle the situation.
