| PDAC CONVENTION

| MEMBERSHIP

Board election opens today!

 

Members will be emailed a personalized link to the 2024 Board of Directors election ballot at 2 p.m. EST on January 25. If you have not already done so, your membership and exercise your right to vote. Election results will be announced at the AGM on March 3.

 

 

On behalf of the PDAC Board of Directors, we invite all members to taking place at 11:30 a.m. EST on March 3. The meeting will be held in Room 711, South Building, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

 

 

 

 

PDAC hosted its second annual member event at AME Roundup on January 24. The well-attended event gave members from western Canada an opportunity to meet PDAC Directors, network with colleagues and discover what’s in store for 2024. about membership options on the PDAC website.

PDAC’s Convention Travel Fund helps student groups with the costs of getting to Toronto for the annual Convention. Funding is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

| CRITICAL MINERALS

 

The Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund (CMIF) will support clean energy and transportation infrastructure projects to enable the development and expansion of Canada’s critical minerals production. The first call for proposals to distribute up to $300 million is now open, with funding reaching up to $50 million per project for non-governmental applicants to two streams: development activities and shovel-ready projects. are open until February 29, 2024 at 11:59PM PST.

 

| REGULATORY AFFAIRS

 

The Government of Canada has released the reporting obligations and related guidance for Forced Labour in Canadian Supply Chains. Completing the online questionnaire on or before May 31st of each calendar year is mandatory for entities.
