During the week of May 8 PDAC took part in Natural Resource Canada’s annual Mineral Outlook Dialogue. Made up of a series of virtual presentations and an in person seminar on Thursday, PDAC was able to provide commentary directly to government on a host of issues currently facing industry, most notable critical minerals. PDAC’s President, Raymond Goldie, provided opening remarks in Ottawa on the 11th to an enthusiastic crowd. Learn more about PDAC's advocacy work.

PDAC has just released ‘Canada’s Critical Minerals: 101’ to answer some key questions, explore the Association's involvement in national initiatives and highlight what the government is doing to develop these mineral value chains. | HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

 

The Mining Industry Human Resources Council and PDAC are conducting a survey about Canadian mineral exploration and mining. Share your thoughts on the challenges faced by the minerals sector to help shape the strategic priorities for human resource development in the industry. The top 22 nominated Canadian post-secondary geoscience students came together in Sudbury, Ontario from May 3-16 to learn about the breadth of careers in the mineral industry.
