Mining Matters resource kits are available to teachers through a pre-requisite workshop, hosted by a school board, teacher organization, or available at special events such as the Mining Matters Education Program during the Toronto-based Prospectors and Developers of Canada (PDAC) Annual Convention. Workshops can be arranged accommodating up to 24 teachers anywhere in Canada with at least four weeks prior notice. For scheduling options, click here.
Mining Matters attends a variety of conferences across the country where we offer professional development opportunities and resources to educators seeking to learn more about the Earth sciences. In some cases, attending a conference workshop can give you the pre-requisite training needed to obtain a Mining Matters resource kit.
