Activity: Mineral Crystal Clusters

*We do not have this activity for purchase any longer*
This integrated activity combines mathematics, science, and visual art.  It can be completed in two visual art periods. Students create three-dimensional crystal clusters from geometric nets, and learn the names of the forms and the minerals that occur in those crystal shapes. This kit includes the activity description, master copies of geometric nets, a class copy of geometric nets, and sheets of coloured tissue paper.

Activities From Past Educator Newsletters

There’s nothing like hands-on learning to help kids get the idea. We’ve collected a few activities over the years to help you deliver Earth science lessons that stick!
