PDAC elects eight members to Board of Directors

Toronto, March 6, 2016 – The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) elected eight members to its Board of Directors following the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on the opening day of the PDAC 2016 Convention at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC).

“These eight leaders will help support the PDAC’s mandate to further enhance Canada’s mineral exploration and mining sector on a national and international level,” says PDAC President Rod Thomas. “They bring a diverse range of knowledge and experience to a Board of Directors that works steadfast every day to promote the interests of our 8,000 members.”

The following members are elected or re-elected to the PDAC’s Board of Directors:

  1. Alex Christopher, Teck Resources (incumbent)
  2. Tim Dohey, Newmont Mining Corporation (incumbent)
  3. Elaine Ellingham, Williams Creek Gold
  4. Jonathan Fowler, J.A Fowler and Associates Inc.
  5. Felix Lee, A.C.A. Howe International Limited (incumbent)
  6. Robert Schafer, Eagle Mines Management LLC (incumbent)
  7. Ian Thomson, On Common Ground Consultants Inc. (incumbent)
  8. Catherine Wade, Dentons Canada LLP

The PDAC Board of Directors is comprised of industry professionals who support and guide the work of the association.
