Insurance Coverage & Benefits

Fully Insured Group Benefits

SCB provides price competitive, fully insured plans inclusive of Health, Dental, Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Long Term Disability and Short Term Disability benefits. Sterling has competitive partners offering telehealth, health spending accounts, and addiction support programs. Your unique benefits needs can easily be met through the SCB offering.

Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan 

The SCB Group RRSP program is an employer-sponsored retirement savings plan. The program is similar to an individual RRSP, but administered on a group basis by the employer. Contributions are made by pay-roll deduction , on a pre-tax basis, through a Group RRSP administrator. Employee contributions are often matched by the employer (typically to a maximum of 4-6% of earnings).

Employees navigate a user-friendly and intuitive platform to enroll and maintain their benefits. Leave of Absence Management Program

The SCB Leave of Absence Management Program enables employers to outsource their leave management. SCB takes care of tracking leaves based on provincial legislation, calculating any relevant payroll top-ups, and supporting employees and employers when members return from leave.
