Ancient mining districts rediscovered: Uncovering the mineral wealth of the Arabian-Nubian Shield

DATE
Monday, March 6, 2023
LOCATION
Room 717
The Arabian-Nubian Shield (ANS) is a renewed frontier of mineral exploration and development. A known host to tier one deposits and very prospective for a diverse range of commodities, it is under-explored as compared to similar shields in Australia, Africa, South America and Canada. As host countries adopt and update mining legislation to encourage investment activity, the region is attracting a myriad of new explorers. Come and hear why our speakers have chosen to explore and develop within and adjacent to the ANS, their unique approaches, and their successes.
