What does decarbonization mean for the junior mining sector? Why evolving investor expectations for producers may impact exploration sooner rather than later (IN PERSON)

The task of decarbonization is daunting. Just calculating scope 1,2, and 3 emissions can burden human resources at a junior mining company. Nonetheless, as industry and government move towards net-zero, companies of all sizes will have to adjust - sooner rather than later.

This session discusses what decarbonzation means for the junior mining sector in 2022, and how investor expectations may speed up the shift to decarbonzation. Moderated by Chih- Ting Lo, EELO Solutions, the session will also discuss the commitment of its members - some of the largest mining companies in the world - to reach net-zero by 2050 or sooner.
