With the impending widespread use of electric cars, trucks and the millions of rechargeable consumer electronic devices that utilize lithium-ion batteries, numerous exploration companies have turned their attention to the vast lithium triangle in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. It has been estimated that South America’s lithium triangle accounts for approximately 54% of the world’s lithium resources.

A panel of industry experts from Montt Group will present on the legal framework for lithium exploration and production in the South American lithium triangle region covering regulations in Argentina, Bolivia and Chile. The presentation will be followed by a discussion focussing on the legal steps required to successfully develop private lithium-based businesses in this region.

10:45 – 11:45 am: Montt Group overview on unlocking South American business opportunities for mining investors and operators

A) Explore the range of legal, accounting and engineering consulting services provided by Montt Group in the jurisdictions of the lithium triangle regions (Argentina, Bolivia and Chile) and Peru, including:
