Presentation & Reception Rooms

Presentation & Reception Rooms are a great way to enhance an organization's visibility, launch a product, present a workshop, meet clients and prospects and/or make a presentation about your mining jurisdiction or company.

Please check back on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 10:00 am EDT for the application package. All applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. 


All Presentation & Reception Rooms are located in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

PDAC 2020 Presentation Room application package will be available Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 10:00 am EDT.

Presentation Rooms

Presentation Rooms are a great way to enhance an organization’s visibility, launch a product, present a workshop, meet clients and prospects and/or make a presentation about your mining jurisdiction or company. Room capacities range from 140 - 200 people.

All Presentation Rooms are located in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and will be available from March 1-4, 2020.

Presentation Rooms are available for half day (8:00 am – 12:00 pm or 2:00 – 6:00 pm) and full day (8:00 am – 6:00 pm).

2020 Rental Fee: 

HALF DAY RENTAL:  $4100.00 + $533.00 HST = $4633.00 CDN
FULL DAY RENTAL:  $8100.00 + $1053.00 HST = $9153.00 CDN

Rental fee INCLUDES:

  • Rental of the Presentation Room
  • Sign with your country or company Presentation Room name
  • Event listing (company/country name, presentation title, time, room number) in the following
    • PDAC Convention website and the Mobile Convention Website
    • The Northern Miner
    • January PDAC 2020 Crosscut email blast to all registered attendees promoting your event
    • The onsite Convention Program, distributed to all Convention attendees

Rental fee DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Audio Visual equipment or technical support
  • Food and beverage
  • Furniture/décor rentals in excess of the pieces noted in the standard room setup (theatre style)
  • Any fees associated with changing the standard room set up (theatre style). See floor plans to be posted on Thursday, August 15, 2019

Once the Presentation Room has been confirmed, PDAC will provide a list of approved suppliers.

Standard room setup includes:

  • Raised head table with 3 chairs maximum and podium
  • Theatre seating set to maximum capacity
  • Skirted registration table and chairs places outside the Presentation Room
  • Coat rack
  • Two Food and Beverage tables
  • Presentation Rooms vary in size. The size and capacity of the room will be confirmed upon booking

Reception Rooms

Reception Rooms are ideal for small receptions of 50-100 people. These rooms can be rented in 2 hour slots.

The Reception Room is located in Room 203 D in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and is available for rental from March 1-4, 2020

2020 Rental Fee (2 hours):

$2100.00 + $273.00 HST = $2373.00 CDN

Rental fee INCLUDES:

  • Rental of the Reception Room
  • Sign with your country or company Reception Room name
  • Event listing (company/country name, reception title, time, room number) in the following
    • PDAC Convention Website and the Mobile Convention Website
    • The Northern Miner
