ESG: Cutting through the rhetoric and making it work for mines

DATE
Tuesday, March 7, 2023
LOCATION
Room 803
This session will review the frameworks for measuring and reporting on ESG performance, including inputs of strategy, transformation/action, audit, record keeping and performance reporting/disclosure. We will tailor the discussion for industry-specific standards for mining and mineral exploration that are anticipated to impact enterprise value.
At its core, the session will cut through the rhetoric and confusion around ESG to focus on how those in mining and mineral exploration can benefit from sound ESG reporting, including increased financing options, reductions in regulatory burden, improved social and community relations, and favorable governance representation.
