The PDAC 2018 Convention – the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining event – will commence in Toronto this weekend, marking its 86th year.

The PDAC 2018 Convention—taking place in Toronto from March 4 to 7—will again feature the popular Aboriginal Program. This unique program at the world’s largest industry event provides a platform to foster cooperative, respectful and mutually-beneficial relationships between Aboriginal communities and the minerals community.

Today, the federal government announced the establishment of the Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise (CORE) for companies working abroad. PDAC looks forward to working with government and other interested stakeholders on developing the office and mandate of the Ombudsperson.
