We need your help to protect the METC!
The Mineral Exploration Tax Credit (METC) is set to expire in seven months, and we have serious concerns about its renewal. To support our extension request, we are building a case study to show the economic advantages of flow-through shares. If you are willing to share some data about your project (anonymously) to help us build this case, we’d like to hear from you!

New legislation to expand fiscal incentives
Finance Canada recently introduced several legislative proposals pertaining to the mineral sector, including a reduction of the eligibility threshold for the Clean Technology Manufacturing Investment Tax Credit, as well as legislation aimed at offsetting the ramifications for the flow-through financing caused by the increase in capital gains inclusion rate. PDAC is working on a response letter to these two proposals. Click here to read Finance’s press release.
