A free PDAC Convention Experience
The Dr. Donald M. Leishman Convention Experience is an exciting opportunity that provides financial support for five students to attend the PDAC 2023 Convention! Covering all costs, the Experience offers networking and learning opportunities for students in a geoscience or mining related program who have never attended the Convention.

ERM Sustainability Bursary
Students are invited to apply for the $3,000 bursary for Innovation in Environmental and/or Social Performance. Open to post-graduate and final year undergraduate students at a Canadian institution. Eligible fields include environment, geoscience, exploration, engineering, hydrology, hydrogeology, sustainability, or social practice and community engagement.
Apply before December 9.

Present your research at #PDAC 2023 Convention
All students (BSc, MSc, PhD) working on projects with a link to earth science and economic geology (such as mapping, mineralogy, geochemistry, geophysics, environmental, hydrogeology, etc.) are encouraged to participate in the annual PDAC-SEG Student Minerals Colloquium. This event provides the widest possible exposure for current research. Cash prizes to be won!

#PDAC2023 travel funding for students
The PDAC’s Convention Travel Fund helps student groups with the costs of travelling to Toronto for the annual Convention. Funding is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to student members.

Mary-Claire Ward Geoscience Award
Applications are open for the 2023 Mary-Claire Ward Geoscience Award. The $5,000 award supports a graduate student in Canada whose thesis has a strong mapping component and embodies the concept of increasing our knowledge of the geological history of Canada through mapping.
Apply before December 15.
