PDAC provides further government recommendations

 

On June 4 the Standing Committee on Industry and Technology presented their report, Positioning Canada as a Leader in the Supply and Processing of Critical Minerals, which lays out ten recommendations for government. PDAC also appeared before the committee to provide our own recommendations as part of the study. You can find more information and read the final report .

Toronto Exchange launches battery metals index

 

The S&P/TSX Battery Metals Index will track Canadian-listed companies engaged in the production and exploration of metals used in the making of batteries that power electric cars or are used in renewable energy, including copper, nickel, cobalt and lithium. The Index will support the critical minerals sector and offers insights into the energy transition. .

PDAC closes the market

7th Annual International Mines Ministers Summit (IMMS)

The Summit brought together twenty international ministers responsible for mining, as well as representatives from industry and civil society, to discuss Getting to Net Zero: The mining industry’s roles in reducing global emissions.
