Canadian Exploration Expenses (CEE) update
After continued advocacy work with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to clarify the types of exploration expenditures that should be considered eligible as CEE, CRA has released two important documents – a technical interpretation of the meaning of ‘quality’ in the purpose test, and a revised CEE expenditure review table.

Feedback invited for National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101)
On April 14, the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) published a
consultation paper on NI 43-101. CSA is now seeking feedback on ways to update and improve Canada’s disclosure requirements for mineral projects, to ensure that Canada continues to set the leading standard for public reporting. The deadline to submit responses to CSA is July 13, 2022.
