PDAC asks government to reconsider a campaign pledge
PDAC is working with other industry associations, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, to examine the Liberal Party’s campaign pledge to cap the amount that employees can claim through stock-option income deductions. If this measure is implemented, we will work to ensure that it does not inadvertently undermine the ability of pre-revenue venture issuers, such as exploration companies, to attract talent and deploy scarce capital. For more information, please contact Samad Uddin, PDAC’s Director of Capital Markets, at [email protected]. |

- Expanding the base of investors financing companies and generally enhance liquidity.
- Diversifying and growing the stock list to increase the attractiveness of the marketplace overall.
