PM Stephen Harper promises to enhance METC
While campaigning in North Bay, Ontario on September 2, Prime Minister Stephen Harper promised to expand the METC for three years if re-elected, and introduce a new 25% METC for northern and remote projects more than 50 km from an all-weather road or service centre. Capital Markets Regulatory Authority
On August 25, the ministers responsible for capital markets regulation in the jurisdictions participating in the Capital Markets Regulatory Authority released a revised consultation draft of the Capital Markets Act and initial regulations for consultation.
