These have been submitted to Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and once they have been approved by that agency, there will be no need for explorationists to seek approval from DFO for these particular activities. A fifth statement covering drilling is being developed and will be available shortly. Copies of the statements are the following:.

The following are four operational statements developed by a subcommittee of the PDAC Land and Regulations Committee. The statements cover low-risk activities undertaken during the course of mineral exploration. Various sources were used in the development of the statements. A fifth statement covering drilling will be added shortly.
