The PDAC international convention is the world’s foremost annual mineral industry convention, trade show and investors exchange.
At the 2012 convention, there were:

- 1,694 post secondary students
- More than 500 self-identified Aboriginal delegates

- More than 500 mineral exploration and mining company exhibitors
- More than 400 other exhibitors including national, provincial and territorial governments
