The PDAC international convention is the world’s foremost annual mineral industry convention, trade show and investors exchange.
At the 2011 convention, there were:
- 27,714 attendees from over 100 countries
- 1,119 post secondary students
- Over 500 mineral exploration and mining companies
- Over 300 other exhibitors including national, provincial and territorial governments
The PDAC convention offers a major opportunity to enhance industry awareness of Aboriginal affairs and to showcase success stories of partnerships between Aboriginal communities and exploration and mining companies.
