Two cultures of sustainable development, a paper written by Susan Joyce and Ian Thomson and published as a PDAC Communique (May 2002)  

This paper, written by Susan Joyce and Ian Thomson, points out that the meaning of the term ‘sustainable development’ for those in developed countries differs from how the term is used in developing countries. The authors argue that this difference must be clearly understood by the mining industry as it moves to embrace sustainability.

The New Federal Exploration Investment Tax Credit November 2000

Over the past twelve months, the PDAC has been working to develop support, both within the industry and at political levels, for a program that would re-kindle investor interest in the exploration industry.
