Fall Mini-Symposium on VMS Deposits
In collaboration with the University of Toronto SEG
Student Chapter, the TGDG invites you to attend a mini-symposium on
volcanic massive sulphide deposits.
The event will include a
networking opportunity and presentations by Lynda Bloom, President of
Halo Resources; Dr. Mark Hannington, Professor and Goldcorp Chair in
Economic Geology , University of Ottawa, and SEG International Exchange
Lecturer; Dr. Harold Gibson, Professor, MERC Director, Economic Geology,
Laurentian University; and Dr. Doug Tinkham, Associate Professor,
Metamorphic Geology, Laurentian University.
When:
Thursday, November 10, 2:30 – 5:30 p.m. followed by refreshments and
networking until 6:30 p.m.

Admission Cost: $50 for
TGDG members, $100 for non-members; free for students. $25 for
