Paul Burton,
World Gold Analyst
Paul Burton is Senior Equities Analyst at GFMS, which, following an August 2011
takeover, is now a division of Thomson Reuters.
Paul has over thirty years experience in various positions within the mining
industry. After initially working as a mining engineer he spent much of his
career in mineral economics and minerals marketing, in South Africa, before
joining the Mining Journal in 1996, where he became Editor of World Gold
Analyst.
Brent Cook,
Exploration Insights
Brent Cook is a geologist and junior mining analyst with over 30 years of mining
industry experience. For 20 years he worked as a consultant to most of the major
and many junior mining companies evaluating mineral projects. He was also
involved in target generation, grass-roots exploration, drill campaigns,
feasibility studies and bank audits involving a variety of metals scattered
across five continents and about 50 countries. In 1997 he became the mining
analyst for Rick Rule’s Global Resource Investments, advising two funds in which
they turned ~$14 million into well over $200 million in a five year period. In
2008 he started the junior resource investment letter Exploration Insights.
Brent’s letter discusses the mining sector and focuses on what Brent is buying,
selling and avoiding with his own money.
Adrian Day,
Adrian Day Asset Management
Adrian Day is a British-born writer and money manager who has made a name for
himself searching out unusual opportunities around the world. He has two books
on the subject, including the groundbreaking Investing Without Borders.
A graduate of the London School of Economics, he is president of his own money
management firm, Adrian Day Asset Management, where he specializes in
global diversification and resource equities for individual and institutional
clients. He has been a frequent guest on CNBC, and Wall Street Journal radio,
and has been interviewed in Barron’s, The Cape Town Argus, La Vie Francais, and
many other leading publications. His latest book, just published, is the
acclaimed Investing in Resources: How to Profit from the Outsized Potential and
Avoid the Risks.
Dominic Frisby, Moneyweek Magazine and Frisby's Bulls And Bears
Dominic is MoneyWeek Magazine’s expert on gold and commodities. He also
presents and produces the podcast Frisby's Bulls & Bears. He is an active
private investor in junior mining and energy companies. Aside from his
involvement in the investment sector, Dominic is one of the UK’s leading
voiceover artists, a TV presenter and stand-up comedian.
Mickey Fulp,
The Mercenary Geologist
Mickey Fulp is a Certified Professional Geologist with a B.Sc. Earth Sciences
and M.Sc. Geology. Mickey has over 30 years experience as an exploration
geologist searching for economic deposits of base and precious metals,
industrial minerals, coal, uranium, oil and gas, and water in North and South
America, Europe, and Asia.
Mickey has worked for junior explorers, major mining companies, private
companies, and investors as a consulting economic geologist for the past 24
years, specializing in geological mapping, property evaluation, and business
development. From 2003 to 2006, Mickey made four outcrop ore discoveries in
Peru, Nevada, Chile, and British Columbia.
Jeb Handwerger, Gold Stock Trades
Gold Stock Trades Editor Jeb Handwerger is a highly sought-after stock
analyst and best selling writer, known throughout the financial industry for his
accurate, in depth and timely analysis of the general markets, particularly as
they relate to the precious metals, nuclear and rare earth sector. Jeb utilizes
both fundamental and technical analysis, especially the study of price volume
action to understand the long term macroeconomic trends in the natural resource

Frank E. Holmes,
U.S. Global Investors
Frank Holmes is CEO and Chief Investment Officer of U.S. Global Investors, Inc.,
which manages a diversified family of mutual funds and hedge funds specializing
in natural resources, emerging markets and infrastructure. The company’s funds
have earned many awards and honors during Mr. Holmes’ tenure, including more
than two dozen Lipper Fund Awards and certificates.
Mr. Holmes was 2006 mining fund manager of the year for Mining Journal, and he
is co-author of The Goldwatcher: Demystifying Gold Investing. He is also a
regular commentator on the financial television networks, and has been profiled
by Fortune, Barron’s, and The Financial Times.
Vin Maru,
TDV Golden Trader
With a particular interest in the business and financial world, Vin Maru
graduated from Brock University in 1995 with an Honours Business Administration
Degree in Finance. As a self taught private investor and analyst with over 15
years of experience, he first focused on technology but in 2004 he started
investigating the investment case for gold and the causes for its sudden rise in
price over the prior few years.
He now wants to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to TDV Golden
Trader subscribers which include 15 years as a private investor and market

Ian McAvity,
Deliberations on World Markets
Mr. McAvity has been a Director of Central Fund of Canada Limited since 1983,
Trustee of Central Gold Trust, and Silver Bullion Trust which collectively hold
in excess of $3.6 billion in physical gold and silver in Canadian bank vaults.
Mr. McAvity has been involved in the world of finance for over 45 years, as a
banker, broker, and since 1975 as an independent advisor and consultant,

Marino G. Pieterse,
Goldletter International
After a period of seven years as a Senior Investment Officer, including four
years as Vice-President, for a Dutch Investment House, Marino has been an
independent strategic and gold analyst for over 30 years.
He is the editor of Goldletter International, a premier information source on
investing in the worldwide gold industry, which is particularly focusing on
emerging gold regions in the world and is also publishing Special Region Reports
including overviews of exploration and development companies active in these
regions, as well as of Uraniumletter International.
Lawrence Roulston,
Resource Opportunities
Frequently interviewed and quoted by the media, Lawrence Roulston is an
internationally acclaimed mining industry authority. His expertise is relied on
during investment litigation, and his extensive background in geology helps him
identify winning companies ahead of the pack.
Lawrence's unique expertise stems from his hands-on approach to the mining

Jay Taylor, J. Taylor's Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks.
Mr. Taylor is editor of J Taylor's
Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks newsletter. His
interest in the role gold has played in U.S. monetary history led him to
