PDAC 2010 Caracle Cup Hockey Tournament (Third Annual)

Canlan Ice Sports, North York Saturday, March 6 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

The PDAC and Caracle Creek International Consulting Inc. (CCIC) are pleased to announce the third annual PDAC hockey tournament at Canlan Ice Sports, North York. The tournament will consist of 12 teams. Each team plays on NHL-size ice sheets in a modified round-robin format culminating in a consolation final game and a championship game in which participants compete for the honour of having their team and player’s names forever enshrined on the prestigious Caracle Cup. A reception and awards ceremony follows the championship game.

We have reached our maximum of 12 teams entered into the tournament – thanks to everyone who has put together a team this year.  Please have a look at the 2010 Teams for a list of the current teams and their corporate sponsors.  We have also had an overwhelming response to corporate sponsors and we thank everyone for their interest and support of this tournament. There are a few teams that may still need players to complete their rosters. If you are an individual interested in playing please email your details to pdachockey@rogers.com.

Complimentary food and beverages will be provided throughout the day.  CA complimentary shuttle bus will be running all day between the Fairmont Royal York Hotel and Canlan Ice Sports. All proceeds from this event will support PDAC Mining Matters, a charitable organization dedicated to educating students, teachers and the public about geoscience and the importance of mineral resources.
