Grand Diamond Draw

Congratulations René Drotar!
On Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 4:00 pm in the Trade Show,
the 1.10 carat, emerald cut, Canada Goose Diamond™ was
presented to René Drotar, Exploration Manager, Cameco
Corporation, Saskatoon. Jon Baird, President of the
PDAC, was on hand to award the diamond prize valued at
$16,300 Cdn. Also present were the sponsor of the Grand
Diamond Draw, Minesh Shah, President, Diaco Inc., who
generously provided the diamond prize and Warren Boyd,
who showcased the diamond at the R.T. Boyd Limited
booth.
René’s winning entry was selected in a random draw from
all of the fully-registered convention delegate
registrations that had been received by the early-bird
deadline of February 6, 2009. The draw was made on
February 20, 2009 at 11:30 am at the PDAC office, at 135
King Street East, Toronto, by Kathryn Haratym, BDO
Dunwoody.
