A strategic priority for the PDAC
Goal
To maximize the land base in Canada open for
mineral exploration and development and minimize the impediments to
carrying out exploration activities on that land base in an efficient
and timely manner.
Objective 1
Develop an industry consultation process for
exploration and development with First Nations on traditional lands
which is efficient and effective.
Objective 2
Advocate for resource revenue sharing agreements
between the federal and provincial governments and First Nations.
Objective 3
Advocate for a land tenure system that protects
security of mineral title.
Objective 4
Advocate for a land use planning system which
maximizes the land base available for mineral exploration and
