The 2015 Energy and Mines Ministers Conference
From July 19 to 21, the 2015 Energy and Mines Ministers’ Conference (EMMC) will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia. PDAC President Rod Thomas and PDAC Executive Director Andrew Cheatle will be attending, along with several staff members. Mines Ministers from across Canada attend this annual meeting to discuss issues facing the industry.

PDAC will hold a networking event for members in Halifax following EMMC on July 22 in Halifax.

PDAC and MAC call for government collaboration on key challenges
Canada’s exploration and mining industry asked governments at the Energy and Mines Ministers’ Conference (EMMC) to turn their attention to several key areas that are challenging the sector during this period of economic downturn and uncertainty. The two national associations outlined three policy priorities they would like governments across Canada to address. To learn more about them, please click here.

PDAC partners with the Funding Portal to benefit members
PDAC has partnered with the Funding Portal to improve access to Canada’s multi-billion dollar incentives market. Finding government funding or accredited investors to support R&D, staffing, export, academic collaboration, and other growth objectives is now easier using PDAC's new funding search tool. The new service allows users to instantly search through more than 7,000 business support programs in both Canada and the United States and assists members in navigating the country’s $27 billion annual incentives business market. The Funding Portal can be accessed through PDAC’s website.
