Mining Matters’ annual golf
tournament is quickly becoming a “don’t miss”
event for the mining and financial communities.
The 2010 event is expected to sell out early and
sponsorships are limited. Registration forms
will be available in December 2009.
Corporate sponsorships start at $2,100 and
include a foursome of golf; power cart;
breakfast, lunch, and dinner; prizes, auction;
entertainment; and marketing benefits. If your

Mining Matters Diamond in the
Rough Golf Classic 2009
The third annual Diamond in the Rough Golf
Classic was a great success! With a fantastic
new venue, beautiful golfing weather, and so
many Mining Matters supporters in attendance,
how could it have been otherwise?
We appreciated seeing so many returning
sponsors, as well as some new ones, particularly
in this challenging year for fundraising. Thanks
to them all, this year’s Classic raised $38,000
for Mining Matters’ education initiatives.

to the event.
At Woodington Lake, our golfers enjoyed the
challenge of a championship-style golf course.
The club house and dining facilities,
overlooking a beautiful pond and outdoor patio,
provided the perfect setting for a delicious rib
and chicken dinner as well as our silent and
live auctions.
