Quotes from PDAC 2010 Volunteers

First and foremost, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be a convention ambassador for this great event! I got a lot out of the volunteer role. To be honest, four hours of volunteer work seem so short for this fascinating trade show.

I did like the experience of volunteering and meeting the experts during the convention, networking with the professionals and knowing the trends of the industry.  Thanks and hope to see next year.

For me it was the excitement of being part of such a big and international convention. I met both new people and old acquaintances that I had lost contact with. I really enjoyed the experience!

This has been a most exciting and rewarding experience for me. During this great international event, I welcomed the attendees and assisted them to various different booths, which has given me an opportunity to help people in need. For me personally, being an ambassador of PDAC 2010 has had a very positive impact on my life. Not only have I furthered my education, but I met a lot of new friends as well. Furthermore, the practical skills I have gained during the process are also applicable to a variety of careers and have helped me build confidence.

I really enjoyed seeing a large convention like this in action.  Even though I felt nervous talking to unfamiliar people at the beginning, I became quite comfortable doing it as the afternoon went on.  This was an experience not to be missed.
