Win-win opportunities for Canadian-German partnerships in the mineral sector

Organizer: Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce & German Mineral Resources Agency (DERA) at the Federal Institute for Geosciences of Natural Resources (BGR)

2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: Room 206B

Win-win opportunities for Canadian-German partnerships in the mineral sector

This year’s German Day focuses on building and expanding strategic win-win partnerships between Canadian and German companies across raw material supply and value chains.

High-level speakers will present the current and projected demand for strategic raw materials needed in Germany’s manufacturing sector to sustain its long-term growth. A main focus will be on materials required to fuel future technologies, such as automotive and battery technologies. An overview of Canada’s mineral potential to meet these demands will complete the picture.

In addition, a range of financing instruments will be presented and discussed in a subsequent panel that can help build supply and value chains for strategic minerals.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about innovative exploration technologies that can help improve the bottom line in exploration spending.

The networking breaks will provide opportunities to meet with industry representatives from Germany’s manufacturing, exploration service and project financing companies that are relevant for Canadian project developers.

German Day’s objective is to be a starting point for an intensified strategic partnership between Canadian and German companies and is open to all attendees of PDAC.
